Cancer is the leading cause of non-accidental deaths in children.
About 9,620 children in the United States under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer in 2024.
All types of childhood cancers combined receive only 4% of the U.S. federal funding for cancer research.
We are so excited to announce our $1 million donation to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). This grant will support a planned first-in-human phase 1 clinical trial led by Sarah K. Tasian, MD, which will use a new immunotherapy to target the FLT3 receptor protein in high-risk pediatric leukemias. CHOP has been a leader in development of CAR-T cell therapy for use in pediatric cancers for the past decade and we are so proud to contribute to their strides in the search for a cure.
As a nonprofit organization, Pediatric Cancer Foundation does not receive federal funding. We rely solely on the generosity of individuals, family foundations and corporations. Your donation can help save a child’s life. Join our mission!
Your donation fuels groundbreaking research, which ultimately supports families navigating the difficult journey of pediatric cancer. When you give, you not only change a life, you ignite a spark of possibility, resilience, and a brighter tomorrow.
