MAMARONECK, NY — Once again, a pair of Westchester County siblings will be doling out hot cocoa to raise funds to help fight pediatric cancer. Evan and Joshua Greenberg will be setting up their hot cocoa stand Saturday and Sunday at The Westchester in White Plains.

It will be located on Retailer Level 1 Center Court, Nordstrom Wing from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

In addition to hot cocoa, baked goods and raffle tickets, including sports memorabilia and tickets from the Mets, will be available.

For the past 14 years, Evan, now 18, and his brother Josh, now 16, have been running Evan and Joshua’s Hot Cocoa Stand.

The charitable organization started out in their garage in Mamaroneck and moved indoors about 10 years ago, raising more than $50,000 for Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Evan Greenberg, the CEO of Evan and Joshua’s Hot Cocoa Stand, said that now that he’s in college, people thought he wouldn’t still be involved

“I’m also working on bringing the hot cocoa stand to Syracuse University, where I attend as a freshman, to be able to continue to support PCF at college,” he said.

For his part, Joshua Greenberg has taken to helping children with cancer to another level, spending last summer volunteering at the Bill Carroll Lab at NYU Langone Health Center helping to fight pediatric leukemia.

“For as far as I can remember, I have been helping raise money for kids with cancer,” he said, “so working at NYU to try to cure childhood cancer through research was an amazing experience.”

Lauren Robinson, president of Pediatric Cancer Foundation, said that Evan and Joshua Greenberg embody what her charity is all about.

“These boys demonstrate that our mission — Coming Together for a Cure — can begin at a young age with small hands and continue,” she said.

“Evan and Joshua’s energy, spirit and kindness are priceless,” Robinson said. “This cocoa stand is a success of the heart.”
